Fishound has announced their new app for iPhones and Androids, Fishound To Go. What’s Fishound in the first place? It’s a web site that has real-time fishing reports for fly, freshwater, and saltwater fishing; travel info; news; and interactive maps including GPS coordinates. Now, accessing this info can be done via mobile means. The idea of bringing real-time fish reports into cell range is pretty nifty. Just imagine yourself trying to figure out what the heck the fish are biting on, when your lures all go unmolested. You dial up the app, peruse the latest info, and discover that mauve-chocolate gyroscopic spinnerbaits are getting slammed. You never would have guessed it, but you happen to have one in your tacklebox. So you decide to give it a try, and WHAM – fish on! Here’s the company take: According to Richard Marks, CEO of Fishhound.com, the new mobile app is extremely user-friendly and intuitive, making it simple for anglers to tap into the site’s up-to-date, detailed information while they’re on the move. “Our user-friendly ‘Fishhound To Go’ app takes advantage of advanced technology to maximize convenience and help create the perfect fishing experience for our users,” said Marks. “Before, anglers could make use of Fishhound.com’s daily on-the-spot pro reports and valuable resources at any time; now they can access it all from any place as well. This opens up even more possibilities for the unique tools and powerful information available at our site.” Add your comment |
