Swimbaits are what’s hot in the world of lures, and BTS has a new version called the Banshee. This lure has a narrow profile and no less than four – count ‘em, four – joints, so it can swim with a snake-like motion as it moves through the water. There’s a four and a half inch long version of the Banshee Swimbait, as well as a six inch model. Like all of ABT’s new lures, the Banshee is available in a variety of fish-catching colors and patterns that mirror blueback herring, threadfin shad, golden shiner, perch, rainbow trout, and other prey species. Eyes are 3-D eyes, scale patterns are highly-detailed, and the tail, head, gill plates, fins, and other parts of the lure have a realistic look. The Banshee can be fished at varying speeds and depths while maintaining the same tantalizing swimming action, so it can be fished not only as a swimbait, but also as a topwater lure or jerkbait. It’s extremely durable, too. Steel connectors hold each section to the next, so the lure will hold up to repeated attacks by predators. MSRP for the Banshee is $12.99 so it’s on the pricey side, but as usual, you get what you pay for. Check it out at www.abtlures.com. ![]() Is the ABT banshee swimbait realistic enough for you? More importantly, is it realistic enough for the fish! Add your comment |
